Heart's Desire (4/25)

I have another cross started but it is going to take a bit. In the meantime, I decided to start making some hearts. This is Heart's Desire by Susan Fuller.

Don't look too closely though because it isn't quite right. It definitely isn't symmetric. The thread is Lizbeth size 20 Berry Burst.

I have some shuttle tatting to share soon, but that it going to require getting out the camera cord. You can read I'm lazy into that if you would like :)

Right now it is time to get our taxes in order. I've been putting it off for a long time now, but this is the week!!

  2. I love the thread you used! Who cares if the heart is a little off kilter? It looks great to me. Besides, I don't like everything to be perfectly symmetrical!

  4. If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, to my eye your Heart's Desire is very beautiful indeed!

Good luck (or should I say Good Refund?) with your taxes.

  5. I think this is beautiful no matter the error. Every homemade piece should have a mistake in it. This is an old proverb. I like it and use it to make me feel better when I find a mistake.

  6. Thanks all!

And I'm sure no refund, but we plan for it. Everything is all together now at least.
