I decided that the kitten needed a heart for Valentine's Day. Needless to say she was much more interested in the Thomas the train book :) If I can find a plain shirt (they are really hard to find) I will probably attach this to a shirt for her to wear. This is Queen of Hearts by Mary Konior tatted in Lizbeth spring garden size 20. Happy Valentine's Day to all!!!
Geez I really need to get me a Mary Konior book. This is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour Queen of Hearts is so very, very pretty! Here's hoping you DO find a plain shirt, so this beauty can be enjoyed by the masses as well as kitten.
ReplyDeleteOK - Now I HAVE to tat this! No excuses as I have the book and the same Lizbeth thread - one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteMy niece is 23 today (will graduate from Pharmacy school next year). I'll see her this weekend and will put this in her card! Thanks for giving me the idea!! Happy Valentine's Day!
I love this pattern - but spent all weekend fighting with it. Missed joins, making it waaaaay too hard. So I have to try it again so it can be as pretty as yours! Love it in spring garden!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Valentine's Day heart! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks all. I love how it turned out as well. Josie, you definitely need to get a hold of one of her books. I can't believe that one woman designed so many wonderful patterns!!
ReplyDeletelovely!
ReplyDeleteWe have seen this pattern in many colours and threads, but this one is a real hit!
ReplyDeleteYour queen of hearts is lovely and beautiful colour of thread. Its amazing how many patterns she did design, the tatting world lost a wonderful tatter when she died.
